How to water and fertilize rhododendrons

Water and spray rhododendrons with soft acidified water. You can acidify the water with acetic, oxalic, citric acid 3-4 g per 10 liters. You can put 50 g of peat in a bag in a barrel of water (100 l) for a day, and water the plants with this water.

You should feed the rhododendrons in early spring, then - during the flowering period and the third time - after flowering during the active growth of the shoots, but not later than July. It is advisable to make at least one top dressing with organic fertilizer: dilute the old semi-rotten - only cow - manure (it acidifies the soil) in a ratio of 1: 15–20 with water and leave for several days.

For mineral dressing, those fertilizers are used that acidify the soil. In the spring, 1 sq. m or for one plant with a height of about 1 m, 40 g of ammonium sulfate and 20 g of superphosphate and potassium sulfate are needed, with the following dressings, the doses are reduced by 2 times.
