Cooking methodPut fresh flowers of black elderberry without pedicels tightly in a 3-liter jar, pour them with prepared sugar syrup in a 1: 1 ratio and leave for 36 hours. Then pour into a bowl or saucepan, bring to a boil and cook over low heat for about 20 minutes. Cool and strain through 3 layers of cheesecloth.
Pour into prepared containers.
NoteMedicinal honey from the flowers of black elderberry (Sambucus nigra L.) has an unusually pleasant taste.
