Lean oatmeal soup

Type first courses Ingredients

For 1.5 liters of water:

potatoes - 200 g,

carrots - 100 g

turnip onions - 100 g,

oat flakes - 150 g,

salt,

spices to taste

fresh herbs to taste.

Cooking method

Peel the potatoes, cut them into small pieces or wedges, put them in boiling water and cook until half cooked.

Grate the prepared carrots on a coarse grater, finely chop the peeled onions.

Add carrots, onions and oatmeal to a saucepan with ready-made potatoes, cook everything together for another 10-15 minutes. Then add salt and spices to taste to the soup, keep on fire for another 3-5 minutes.

Add chopped fresh herbs to each serving before serving.
