By the way, few people know that sweet peppers, especially those varieties that we will talk about, are very demanding on illumination throughout the entire period of development - that is, no shadow, only an open area. But you should not be afraid, unusual sweet peppers do not require anything completely unusual to themselves, in fact it is the same bell pepper, only more light-loving and often surprisingly beautiful, not much like a fellow growing in a neighbor's garden. All he needs is nutritious soil, sunlight, no draft and possible shelter from a sudden cold snap.

Sweet pepper varieties and hybrids you shouldn't miss

Let's start with the variety White Cloud, White Cloud... This variety is notable for its mid-ripeness, average vigor and excellent fruits, which in biological ripeness acquire a rounded-block shape and a mass of more than 155 g. During the ripening period, the color of this pepper changes from creamy white to orange or even red. The walls of the peppercorns are quite thick, very tasty and juicy, so the seeds of the variety do not stale on store shelves. The variety has a high yield and will give you fruits almost the entire season.

F1 Snowwhite (F1 Snowwhite) - this is a hybrid, so there is no point in collecting seeds from it, you can get something completely different from what you expect. The ripening period for this hybrid is early, it is quite productive and belongs to the type of Hungarian wax peppers. The variety is good because it works equally well in greenhouses and in the open field. Fruit weight often exceeds 165 g. Fruits have the shape of a cone, four of its lobes are clearly visible. The thickness of the walls of the fruit is about a centimeter. The color is very original, as it ripens, the color of each fruit becomes milky at first, and at the end bright orange. The fruit tastes great, is sweet and can be eaten fresh.

Sweet pepper F1 Snowwhite (F1 Snowwhite)

The plant itself is quite well developed, it is tall, has powerful roots and gorgeous foliage, it has a luxurious appearance, The variety is drought-resistant, does not suffer from diseases, it can grow even on poor soils and at the same time gives high yields. However, you should not thicken the plants of this variety, from this the fruits can become very shallow, the optimal number of plants is about three pieces per square meter. Snowwhite can be grown both in a greenhouse and in open ground, where the number per meter can be increased to four.

F1 Tamina - this is also a hybrid, and you should not collect seeds from it. The hybrid is ideal for both open ground and greenhouses. Only a month and a half will pass from sowing seeds, and you can harvest. The bushes of the hybrid are powerful, but low. Tamina fruit forms almost flat, therefore, the variety is classified as Gogoshar or Ratunda. However, the walls of the fetus are simply huge, up to eight centimeters. Probably, it's not worth talking about the taste - and so it is clear that the fruits are juicy and sweet. This hybrid has excellent positive qualities, it is perfectly stored and transported, it has a wonderful taste, the hybrid practically does not get sick and is not affected by pests, it can be eaten fresh or used for a variety of preparations.

Another wonderful variety - Ingrid (Ingrid), it has a medium early ripeness, and the first fruits can be obtained after 125-135 days. The variety is characterized by a high yield, as well as non-standard color and shape of the fruit. Let's start with coloring - the fruits are chocolate-burgundy, and their shape resembles an almost regular cube. The mass of fruits reaches 230 g, and the thickness of the walls at the same time reaches a centimeter.

The bush of this pepper is tall and strong; in order to accelerate fruiting, it is still better to grow it through seedlings. The seeds germinate very well. You can sow them in February or early March, and when a couple of real leaves appear, then dive. The only small disadvantage of the variety is that it loves frequent feeding, and at least a couple of times a season you need to feed it with nitroammophos, diluting a tablespoon of fertilizer in a bucket of water. This rate is enough for ten square meters of plantings. Before planting the seedlings in the ground, it is better to harden and protect this variety from recurrent frosts. As for the planting scheme, 40 by 60 cm will be optimal, do not forget to remove the soil crust and water the soil as it dries.

Another variety whose seeds can be sown and sown again is Blot, it differs in mid-maturity and a rather non-standard color, combined with excellent productivity. In total, up to four kilograms of fruit can be removed from a square meter.

The bushes have a barely spreading shape and a small, one might say, medium height. The fruits are very juicy, their color is purple, and can be used as decoration of the site. With a fetus weighing 140 g, the thickness of its walls is about half a centimeter. The variety is not afraid of verticillary wilting.

It is advisable to grow this variety through seedlings, while literally any soil is suitable for its production. This variety is planted according to the 60 by 40 cm scheme, and sown for seedlings in the first decade of March.

We can say that the disadvantages of the variety are the particular exactingness to light and soil fertility. The first fruits can be eaten at the end of July.

Sweet pepper Gingerbread man

Variety Gingerbread man is a half-stem, and the seeds from it can also be collected and sown again, since it is not a hybrid. Bushes grow compact and leafy, they grow only about half a meter. The fruits are original, one might say, beautiful, from each square meter of such miracles you can collect up to five kilograms. The variety grows well both in the greenhouse and in the open field. If you grow seedlings, then choose a planting pattern of 30 by 40 cm.As soon as the harvest ripens, you will receive scarlet, round-shaped fruits weighing more than 17 g, possessing a surprisingly bright and pleasant aroma, resistance to all pests and diseases, early maturity and excellent yield, and also with a wall thickness, sometimes exceeding a centimeter.

If you want high yields, mulch the soil more often, water it as it dries up and carry out at least a couple of fertilizing with nitroammophos, dissolving a tablespoon of the drug in a bucket of water and using this rate for 5 square meters of plantings.

Red Miracle F1 - this is a hybrid with a very interesting maroon color, flattened almost to the shape of a ball, and a wall thickness of about 0.8 cm.Gathering seeds and sowing them, like from any hybrid, is not worth it. The taste is pleasant, one might even say dessert. It is ideal for salad and has a medium early ripeness. The plant itself is determinate, with medium-sized green leaves and a simple inflorescence. With a fruit weight of 220-260 g, the yield from a bush can reach five kilograms, and from a square meter - up to 7 kg. The pulp of the variety has a rich composition of biologically active substances.

General Wrangel F1- This hybrid is ideal for both open ground and greenhouses. It is a very powerful plant with massive leaves. Often the height of the bush exceeds two meters. The fruits are located drooping, their shape is non-standard - they are elongated-conical, with a glossy surface, rich green at the beginning of ripening and dark red at the end. Each pepper fruit can reach 25 centimeters and weigh more than 220 grams. Mighty peppers are very juicy, have a pleasant aroma, typical peppery and pleasant taste. The wall thickness is about 0.7 centimeters. Up to nine kilograms of huge fruits can be harvested from a square meter. This hybrid is primarily appreciated for its resistance to the vast majority of pepper diseases, for its high yield, for an unusual type of pepper.Despite the resemblance to hot peppers, do not be afraid to consume it fresh, in all sorts of salads and use it for any processing options.

General Denikin F1 - also a hybrid, not suitable for re-sowing the seeds collected from it. Ripens after 120-125 days, sometimes a little earlier, and is ideal for both greenhouses and open ground. This plant is slightly less tall, but can still reach one and a half meters. The fruits are arranged drooping, have an elongated prismatic shape and a glossy finish. At the beginning of ripening, the fruits turn dark green, and when fully ripe, they acquire a bright red color. The length of each fruit reaches 21 cm, the weight can reach 205 grams. The fruits are very juicy, taste great and have a rich, bright, peppery aroma. The wall thickness is about a centimeter. Up to seven kilograms of fruit can be harvested from a square meter. The hybrid is of particular value due to its resistance to verticillosis, tobacco mosaic virus, abundant fruiting, interesting fruit shape and can be used both fresh and processed.

At first glance, these peppers seem to be capricious exotics, but if you plant them on your site, you will understand what kind of workaholics they really are, they will work all season to please you and give you good harvests.
