Chickpea and beef soup

Type first courses Ingredients

Beef on the bone - 500-600 g,

chickpeas - 1 glass

potatoes - 4-5 pcs.,

1 tbsp. a spoonful of butter

1 carrot,

1 onion

ground black pepper

salt,

greens,

bay leaf to taste.

Cooking method

Soak the chickpeas in enough cold water for 12 hours.

Put the beef broth to boil. 40 minutes before the end of cooking the broth, add the washed chickpeas to it. When the broth is ready, remove the meat and bone from it, let it cool.

Add chopped potatoes to the broth and continue cooking. Separate the cooled meat from the bones, add to the soup.

Sauté chopped onions and carrots in butter.

When the potatoes are almost cooked, add the sautéed vegetables to the soup, season with salt, add pepper and bay leaf, cook for another 5 minutes.

Add finely chopped greens to portioned bowls of soup.
