The stem should be approximately 10 cm long. They put it in the water - that's all. After a while, thin roots will appear on the cut. Wait until they get stronger and get longer, and then gently plant in the ground. Do not tamp too much. Water as usual. After a while, new leaves will crawl right out of the ground. To be sure, if possible, put not one leaf in the water, but several. The roots simply climbed out of the cut; callus did not even form (like an influx, a heel at the cut site). I cut off the leaf not evenly, but at an angle. I put it in ordinary warm water without adding any drugs (believe it, but with the drugs, not a single shoot gave me roots). I didn't change the water at all, didn't cover it with anything. The roots began to climb after 1 week. And before that, the leaves were closed at night and opened in the morning. One very important nuance: the end of the cut stem should not stand at the bottom of the jar, but hang in the water about 2 cm from the bottom. I personally took a tall and narrow baby bottle and glued the stem to the edge with plasticine. And what I want to say is that you also need to have a light hand. All flowers, shoots take root in me, in whatever condition they come to me. I have been fond of indoor floriculture for about 7 years. |
