The taste of carrots was appreciated not only by people, but also by pets. Special varieties of fodder carrots, distinguished by the large size of root crops, have been bred. In Japan, on volcanic soil, they sometimes reach a meter in length with a root crop diameter of about 30 cm. But this is not the limit! In Mexico, they managed to grow two-meter root crops, which are certainly beyond the power of one grandmother to pull them out of the ground, even if her whole family, including her dog Zhuchka, comes to her aid.
