Phytocompositions from indoor plants and natural materials

Compositions with the participation of indoor plants and natural materials will wonderfully enliven the interior, bringing a fairy tale into your everyday life. Even a person without "special training" can make these table decorations with their own hands. And at the same time, it will not spend much on components. And what a delight the children will be, regardless of whether they are ordinary spectators or directly "phytodesigners".

In this composition, I wanted to capture the mood of a muslin young lady who forgot her cloak along with a volume of poetry on a garden bench in her estate.

The first step is to make a pine slab container of the desired size (for example, 25 x 35 cm). Before manufacturing, the material must be dried so that later flaws do not come out - cracks and irregularities at the junction of the sides. The thickness of the wood, which should remain under the bark, will be about 1 cm. The bark on the board can be either "age" - grayish-brown, with characteristic grooves and cracks, and "young" - thin, not yet particularly textured, with a green tint ... It all depends on the desired result. Both options are good. In this case, the "adult" croaker is used.

The ends of the sides should be grinded off at an angle in order to give the future product a more attractive shape due to the fact that the edges will fit together and the wood will not be visible in the corners. Between each other, the sides must be carefully connected with small carnations, drowning the caps into the cracks in the bark.

It is desirable to varnish the resulting box. The natural look of the bark is, of course, more pleasant to the eye, but remember that the unlacquered bark will soon crumble and fall off.

To prevent the box from getting wet during watering, you need to cover it from the inside, for example, with material for vapor barrier (isoline). Better to take the thinnest one. You can also use film.

Next comes a thick drainage layer. This is a required component! Otherwise, irrigation water will stagnate in the tank. We fill in the soil suitable for those types of plants that will live in the composition. It should be light, breathable so that it does not sour even with slight waterlogging.

Previously, on a piece of paper, it is advisable to at least schematically draw the future picture that you want to portray. And plant the plants in the soil according to the idea, not forgetting to water them.

Pour the soil into the box so that there is room to place the decorative dump up to the edge of the side. It is imperative to cover the soil from above with a non-woven material, for example, spunbond, first checking which side is allowing water to pass through. In the spunbond, you need to make round slots for the stems of the plants and lay it so that when watering, water can seep through the material. Without him - nothing. Otherwise, the decorative backfill will clog into the soil, and the wood components will quickly become moldy and rot when in contact with damp earth.

And now - the full flight of your imagination. If you want - depict a whole scene from a fairy tale, if you want - place one or two bright decorative elements. The main thing is to arrange the composition with taste. You can easily find a variety of wooden accessories (houses, garden furniture, a wheelbarrow, a mill, a flashlight, etc.) in handicraft stores. These are, for the most part, blanks for decoupage. They can be either completely "pocket" or more impressive.

In this composition for the fence, decorative twigs (sachets) were cut, buried in the soil, repeating the shape of a semicircular fence. Further, the twigs were tied with jute twine in three rows. The fence has become more textured and stable. A village house was chosen as the main decorative element. A winding path leading behind the "bushes", plus a miniature woodpile, was scattered from it with small pebbles.

It is better to fill the remaining space with finely cut bark, small shavings. You can combine both of these options for filling.

House in the village.

I will make a reservation that plants for such a composition need to be selected such that they would “keep their shape” longer, would not grow too much, and would not be capricious at the same time. When watering, you need to carefully direct the stream of water to the area of the plant stem. Watering will not be particularly frequent, especially in the heat. Moisture evaporates slowly from under the mulch.

That's all! Use it. More precisely, decorate your interior!

And this composition with a garden wheelbarrow can be called
